While online courses provide valuable theoretical knowledge, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and British Safety Federation (BSIF) strongly recommend that the practical aspects of face fit testing – including conducting the fit test itself – be delivered in person.
​
Online training cannot effectively assess a tester's essential practical skills, such as correctly using equipment and following procedures during the live test.
